Catchin' up

Work, music and play has kept me busy lately, so the creative side has been a bit preoccupied.

Tonight, a new adventure in music - the Lucky Dog Casino at Hood Canal. Unlike the larger Indian gaming establishments, Lucky Dog has a lounge at the far end of a gaming area, that seats only about 40 people maximum. Instant intimacy.

I love working small rooms where I can carry on conversation with customers, take a few requests (no, I don't like to play "stump the band with stupid requests") and have a little fun with the folks. I'm thinking that this might be a perfect venue for that sort of show.
