  1. Gee, she must have missed the fact that 100 years after the Civil War, lunch counters, hotels, hospitals, busses, were still segregated.

    One of my favorite segregation stories(favorite is not the right term) is of the black doctor that created the process for creating blood plasma. He was struck by a car and died in front of a hospital...

    ..It was for whites only

    That was in the '40s, I believe
