The Trib is going in the same direction but at least there I already have a print subscription and can just add the cost of the online access. My only complaint with the system at the Trib is that they demand that commenters have Facebook accounts in order to comment on many of the articles, and those of us who despise FB will have only the choice of joining or not commenting.
