Open forums appear to be a good catheter for whatever seems to bind up so many of you. But to my way of thinking, a forum on specific topics is not an open forum. There are now well over a hundred posts on this thread. It didn't take much more than five or so posts for this thread to be highjacked by someone who has issues with illegals and Arizona. Please-- show me one connection with the LTEs that were posted today. And it all went downhill from there.

This is what put me over the top. In the past, I've known Loren Gee. Have dined on duck in his home. Good man, good heart, good thoughts. The Loren Gees of the world, that are willing to actually put ther names behind what they submit, deserve better than what they tend to get here. Let the LTE posts be about the LTEs, and ask the O to put up a community blog outlet where you all that apparently need some kind of outlet can post whatever-- call it Community Calling, whatever. But when there is a topic or topics, let it be.
