Some days Sondra just loses and loses and loses...

" HarryC wrote on 07/29/2010 07:00:25 PM: Yeah, as someone that sees more of this at times than I'd like, I wonder if our "victim" had a few "beverages" prior to attending the event....

Now do I see the word "alcoholic" there? Nope. A person can get a little tipsy once in awhile and make a fool of themselves without being an alcoholic.

I guess someone's laser needs adjustment.

You know, this is why we don't want to see laser weaponry. In the hands of the wrong person, a laser beam can scorch the earth instead of hitting a target.

Shiny - I'm one of more than one hundred men and women who HAVE RECOVERED from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body, not "an alcoholic". You're speaking of someone with a drinking problem. I don't drink.

Now, unfortunately, I cannot find Shiny's venom laced comment calling me an alcoholic. In fact I can't find any Shiny comments which probably means that.....

Shiny bit the big one.

Ohfercripessake Harry. Not everyone is an alcoholic like you.
Really. Everything, for most people, doesn't revolve around alcohol or substance abuse.

  5. How many times do you get sand kicked in your face before you find a new sandbox to play in?

  6. Maybe she's like some dogs who dig in the sandboxes and eat kitty logs some uncouth cats leave behind? ROTFLMAO!

  7. No problem, xyzzy..

It'll only take a post or two for her latest persona to reveal itself...

  8. And Anon...cats aren't uncouth..

they at least have the decency to bury their leavings..

..(Unlike some dogs that like to put little flags on theirs....)

    ==================

This has become one of my mantras, sparkle...

I started using sidrat38 when I first became an internet user...almost a decade ago..

I'm coming up on 48, and never once been banned from ANY website..

Yet some people can't go 2 days with an ID....

..and yet, they never think, "Maybe it's me"....

I think back to an English prof in college describing the difference between ignorance and stupidity...

Ignorance being a lack of knowledge, and stupidity being shown a lack of knowledge, and ignoring it...

    Ignorance can be forgiven...

    Stupidity, is, well...

..one tends to get what one deserves...

  10. Yeah, sidrat, I know that cats aren't innately uncouth, but you have to admit that burying their leavings in a kid's sandbox or in the family garden plot isn't very sanitary! Besides, it's safer for cats all around if we humans would keep them indoors and have them use a litter box. It took me just one broken familiar little body alongside our street to vow to never again have a cat that was allowed to go outside.

  11. Sidrat38, I've never been "banned" from a site either. It must make One special, as your professor stated STUPID person to have it happen over, and over, and over again.

Anomyous98507, so sorry to hear of your kitty's untimely death, whether it happened a day or a decade ago. Losing our little loved ones is so hard.

  12. God knows I've pushed electronic boundaries over the years but even though I have been reprimanded I have yet to be banned.

The difference between myself and Sondrak is I'm not so crazy as to double down on stupidity.

  13. Geeze guys, I have been banned more times than I can remember. In all fairness I have been a bit of a kamikaze blogger. I have just posted jokes every day till they banned me. I have just posted things directed at JoeBandMember to make him cry. I have been banned for reasons I still don't know or care about. The thing for me is that it takes all of about three minutes to be back in the game so it's not a big deal. Truth be told I don't post much anymore and when I do it's pretty mundane. I'm just glad Larry has provided a place where a knucklehead like myself can run free. The folks at the daily O should be thanking him.

  14. LostOnAnIsland, and please run as free as you'd like! I love reading what you have to write, your sarcastic wit has me rolling on the floor laughing my ass off more times then I care to admit!!!

Qualifying difference, trying to be banned, as opposed to feeling self righteous indignation when you are banned, and don't get why!

  17. A "new" poster named LaserBeam" posted for the first time this evening. Wonder who in the world that could be???

  18. It probably took her that long to realize why everyone was ignoring her bullsweat.

  19. Day 1, for username "LaserBeam" I wonder how long that one will last?!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yeah, I think I'll do the ignore thing again, it helps my Zen!

  21. It depends.

Sorry, I just had to squeeze the last drop out of that one. I just hope whatever name Joey takes up next that it is as fun to mess with as all of his other brilliant picks so far.

    I miss him already.

Oh, but we were talking the Swine Kween. I give it till Tuesday at 3:45 if Tammy and the crew have a fondness for the sun and some kind of social life.
