Thanks for your comment in the form of a rhetorical question on the SAT scores article. With all the griping about "incompetent, lazy teachers" that shows up for most every story about schools, you'd think there would've been at least one, "wow, our kids are doing better than we thought" type comment. But, no, any news about how schools in this state are doing a good job... well, those are facts that just confuse a lot of people.

Not only do I appreciate the work teachers do, I have a son that is a principal.
