Biggest news of the day!!
TL commented: Sounds like the result of reading too many Republican policies.
Glenn commented: TL - That wouldn't be too many Republican policies now would it? ...
Of course, Glenn had to spoil his supposed insight by adding that he thinks that was because Democrats have had the Legislature locked up. [snort]

Hopefully, he didn't suffer a stroke. I disagree with his politics, but I wouldn't wish ill health on anyone.
Testing supposedly ruled that out, Larry. Joining you, I hope he didn't have one.
BTW, Larry, did you see last week's news? "Stroke study finds neck stents safe, effective"

From the Centralia Chronicle:
State Sen. Dan Swecker is back at work again today after being briefly hospitalized over the weekend.
The Rochester senator left early from the Legislature and was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia on Saturday after a bout of migraines left him disoriented.

Swecker was released after a couple hours and sent home after blood tests and X-rays came back negative for stroke or heart issues.
“A neurologist reevaluated me this morning,” he told The Chronicle today. “He wasn’t sure what it was, but that it wasn’t stroke symptoms.”
The four-term senator was hospitalized in May 2008 and underwent open-heart surgery for a congenital valve abnormality.
“It’s a heck of a way to spend your birthday,” said Swecker, who turned 63 on Sunday. “All things considered, things could have been a lot worse. So I’m thankful.”
Good to hear.
Now I will say I placed a rather terse call to his office on Wednesday of last week....
I'll bet that the message hasn't even reached him yet.
