HEY! Being a Nascar fan is NOT embarrassing!! I've been one for decades, from the times when the only races shown on TV were excerpts on Wide World of Sports on Saturday afternoons. My favorite driver is local product and 1990 Daytona 500 winner Derrike Cope-- he's a true gentleman and diehard racer who like many other drivers nowadays unfortunately doesn't have the financial resources to field competitive cars.
