In Depends Felcher's accident
In Depends Felcher was tailgating me around the internet. I stopped quickly and stepped to the left and the result was as follows:
Since the Health Care Act hasn't fully kicked in and 7-11 doesn't provide insurance for part time employees, there will be a benefit dance held. Nick Nasal and his Nine Nasty Nose Pickers will perform songs from their new CD - "Pickin' Out a Little Boogey"

Australia to host Nude Olympics
NOOSA, Australia -- More than 500 competitors will be going for glory when the Nude Olympics are held Down Under over the weekend, Australia's public broadcaster ABC reported Friday.
A range of physical competitions including tug of war, marathons and beach sprints will test participants' prowess and capabilities. Less conventional events like the "best bum (butt)" competition, conga lines and egg throwing will also run.
The event will be held in Noosa National Park in Queensland -- about 80 miles (130km) north of Brisbane -- having been postponed from its original March date after catastrophic flooding hit northeastern Australia over the Christmas and New Year period.
Organizer Dean said having fun was the name of the game, rather than winning medals.
"There's a whole bucket-load of stuff we do, but like I say, the emphasis is more on fun and camaraderie than out-and-out blood and guts glory," he said.
"As in most events the umpire's decision is final, but when we get down to events like the men and women's 'best bum' or the 'magnificent mums [moms]' we usually have to fight the judges off with a stick because everybody wants to get involved with presenting those medals."

Too Bad, the Birther Sideshow Was Just Getting Good
Too Bad, the Birther Sideshow Was Just Getting Good
April 28, 2011, 4:45 PM
At first, I was disappointed that the White House released President Obama’s birth certificate yesterday. I had been enjoying watching and listening to that small group of America’s rabid rejects being all bouncy and birthy. They are an interesting group, from seething baby man Andrew Breitbart, who reminds me of that kid at summer camp who, upon the slightest provocation, would hyperventilate and pass out, to Orly Taitz, who looks like the Russian operative who gets hit with a poison dart in a crowd during a 70s-era James Bond film. They make for perfect guilty-pleasure viewing.
Now that the president’s birth certificate is in full view, it is hardly surprising that many of the people who don’t believe President Obama was born in America are still not convinced. He was born in Africa and his presidency is illegitimate—that’s their story and they’re sticking to it. There is nothing you can show these people that will cool them out.
I also know that President Obama is a master strategist. He has the onerous task of steering his country through some very tough and complex challenges and has to take time out of his day to deal with those who can’t deal with the color of his skin. That really is the issue here and it’s about time that these birther types summon the courage to come in through the front door and own up to it. Of course, moral cowards that they are, they won’t. They can’t. They will move onto some other aspect of the president’s life and attempt to prove some other non-existent fact.
Perhaps one of the reasons the White House only now did the reveal on the president’s birth certificate was to allow enough time for these people to more deeply invest in this idiotic talking point. When they move on to the next non-issue, they will further isolate themselves and turn up the light on their depressing stupidity and negative credibility factor. Months from now, we won’t remember the issue as much as their pathetic conduct.
Sadly, these faux patriots can’t handle the dynamic powers of the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments, so they act out in public and waste time. I hope they’re only getting warmed up. As 2012 looms ever closer, I think it’s a great recipe for losing on a monumental scale.
I think more airtime should be given to Donald Trump and Orly Taitz. They should run for office together. They should open for Charlie Sheen. They should do an adult-entertainment film. They should do a lot of things but they shouldn’t shut up; it’s just getting good. Sideshow is as sideshow does—we’ll deal with the real issues.

Analysis: Obama had no choice in 'birther' fight
By JIM KUHNHENN, AP
Thu Apr 28, 6:35 AM EDT
Confronting doubters who harbor questions about his place of birth, President Barack Obama chose to defy one of his White House's own rules: Don't get dragged into the news skirmish of the day.
[snipped]
Standing in front of cameras in the White House briefing room Wednesday, the president sought to rise above the fray by first succumbing to it.
"We're not going to be able to solve our problems if we get distracted by sideshow and carnival barkers," Obama said.
But the issue was not just a distraction. The rising public doubts about his birth, with their hints of xenophobic and even racist attitudes, threatened to feed broader suspicions and grievances among millions of Americans. Unchallenged, those sentiments would linger through his re-election campaign.
"A huge segment of the Republican Party, whether or not they concede it or even know it, looks foolish and conspiratorial," said Jim Jordan, a longtime Democratic operative and veteran of numerous political campaigns.
"But also it's likely that this was becoming a genuine distraction, that the question itself was seeping beyond the right fringe of the Republican Party and it was just time to demystify the whole thing."
Many Republicans also breathed a quiet sigh of relief at the sight of Obama's new documentation.
Among many party activists, questioning Obama's birthplace — and thus his constitutional legitimacy as president — was a test of party allegiance. Republican presidential hopefuls were forced into uncomfortable corners where they had to distance themselves from the birthers' claims without alienating potential voters.
"There's a lot of evidence out there that it was a distraction for a number of Republicans," said GOP pollster Wes Anderson. "It became a purity test for some voters. For others it was a test of whether you were serious about other issues. There are just as many Republicans as Democrats who would be glad to get to fighting about other things."
Todd Harris, a Republican consultant who has worked on a number of GOP presidential campaigns, said some Republicans fanned the birthplace cause to get an easy headline and open up the wallets of some activists.
"It may have a short-term payoff for a handful of Republicans," he said. "But for the party as a whole, it is a terrible long-term issue to build a campaign around."
Recognizing the potential backlash, Republican House Speaker John Boehner on Wednesday promptly put some distance between the GOP establishment and the conspiracy theorists.
"This has long been a settled issue," Boehner spokesman Brendan Buck said. "The speaker's focus is on cutting spending, lowering gas prices and creating American jobs."
There was no guarantee that the topic of Obama's birth would simply go away. The Internet on Wednesday was already beginning to hum with questions about the authenticity of the newly produced document.
But what had given the issue its drive was the success critics such as Trump achieved by simply questioning why Obama had not released the long-form version of his birth document. "Essentially the discussion transcended from the nether regions of the Internet into mainstream political debate in this country," Dan Pfeiffer, the White House communications director, said.
The White House choreographed the release of the birth certificate.
[snipped]
"Now, normally I would not comment on something like this," [Obama] said.
He did not brandish his birth certificate. He did not offer a point-by-point rebuttal. He conceded that for some, the issue would not go away.
"But I'm speaking to the vast majority of the American people, as well as to the press," he said. "We do not have time for this kind of silliness. We've got better stuff to do."

You can always try Donald Trump, but just to warn you, the last laugh might be on you.
Per News Max:
The latest Trump poll hits one million votes. If the election were held today, Trump would beat Obama in a landslide, 65% to 16%.
Americans "overwhelmingly" favor Donald Trump as their preferred GOP candidate.
All this and he has not even announced his official candidacy!!

Quit spitting and spurting your typical denial BS. Even my neighbor's dog knows the "mainstream media liberal bias". If you don't know it, then I feel sorry for your lack of awareness.

How about some proof to back up your statement?
Fox news actively prompts tea party rallies but that is somehow part of the liberal bias.
Donald Trump is invited onto every station to spout easily debunked rubbish birtherism. Is part of the liberal media too?
All the talking heads tout Ryan's sham of a budget as adult and responsible while ignoring the direct correlation between tax cuts for the rich and sacrifice for everyone else.
Is that more liberal bias?

Madame China Town - Listen carefully and take notes. FOX is not mainstream media. CBS, NBC and ABC are examples of mainstream media and they are about as left as it gets. Nothing disparaging about the left ever makes their airwaves. Everything disparaging about conservatives IS on their airwaves. FOX is cable.
Now again, listen carefully - EVERYONE knows that the mainstream media is biased. Please don't insult the intelligence of adults by trying some convoluted lame arguement to try and deny it. You'll make yourself look rather dorky.

Should a chicken have to live in a space the size of a sheet of letter paper?
........................
Remember the column about how chickens have it better than disabled adults: In this state, you might be better off being a chicken? You might want to reconsider how good chickens really have it after you read the text of a bill before the Legislature: An act relating to establishing a certification program for commercial egg laying chicken operations.
The certification requirements that will have to be followed according to that act are established in the 2010 edition of the United Egg Producers (UEP) Animal Husbandry Guidelines. The guidelines for caged chickens call for 67 to 86 square inches of usable space per bird to optimize "hen welfare". 67 to 86 square inches sounds good, huh? Well, guess again, that's only slightly more than the size of an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper!!! How inhumane can you get? (Makes you wonder if a Republican wrote the guidelines and/or the legislation!)
If you feel a chicken deserves more than a 10.7 x 10.7 inch space to live her life-- please call your State Senator and kindly ask her or him to vote NO on this bill. This bill needs to be improved to provide adequate space for a hen to at least stretch her wings! To find your State Senator's phone number, go to the link below, click "find your district" and type in your address. http://www.leg.wa.gov/pages/home.aspx
