Sarah Palin Puts Some Words Together About Egypt
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2011 ·
Sarah Palin became the latest political pundit to chime in on the situation in Egypt, but I can’t for the life of me figure out what she’s saying:
[snipped]
If the shoe fits, wear it: "... in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt." -- Bertrand Russell
"There's no firewall for stupidity." -- Mike Hamilton
"I won't insult your intelligence by suggesting that you really believe what you just said." -- William F. Buckley, Jr.
"There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true." -- Søren Kierkegaard
According to CNN's Jack Cafferty:
When Palin speaks it's usually a lot of feathers - not very much chicken...
and
We should be used to this by now: lots of feathers, no chicken.
"She did not offer specifics for how she would handle the crisis, saying only: “We need strength and sound mind there in the White House. We need to know what it is that America stands for so we know who it is that America will stand with.”
Thus is the answer to the question "why was Obama elected instead of Palin?"
After reading through the comments on that blog, I had to agree w/ the person who wrote that we are not Palin's intended audience.
She's buried in her junky syntax the implication that Obama can't be trusted, and that he could be back door dealing w/ the dreaded "Brotherhood". And I think her intended audience gets that message loud and clear.
