* They are a part of the Conservative desire to dumb down America. The last thing the GOP wants is more people with a college education.
* Of course, tuition at clown college is lower than a real school
* So the mantra at Fox News is just to take whatever the president says and argue against it? I feel like journalism should require more than that.
* Oooooh!!! Just pay for it? Now there's an option that so few actually consider! Of course! It makes sense! Just write a check, and pay for your college or university degree as if it where a product on the belt at the cashier's stand at WalMart's. It's so simple. My daughter has a law degree from NYU with over two hundred thousand in student loan debt which could have avoided by simply writing a silly check! Silly students! Silly low-income students! Just write a check!

Fox News Hosts Hate Obama's Free College Plan, And Their Reasoning Is Painful
By Catherine Taibi, January 21, 2015
During the State of the Union address on Tuesday, President Obama proposed a plan to offer two years of free community college to U.S. students.
While others have critiqued the president's plan for potentially high costs to states and unlikelihood of increasing the graduation rate, "Fox & Friends" co-host Steve Doocy had a slightly different complaint.
"Here's the thing that really bothers me about this," Doocy said Wednesday morning. "I made my final two college tuition payments about two weeks ago!"
And according to co-host Brian Kilmeade, this whole free college thing is just pointless anyway. I mean, it's not that hard to just pay for it. Right?
"If you want to go to college, you can get a part-time job and make that tuition payment even without a loan, which available to you, and even without grants," he said.
Sure. When you find a part-time job we can do on top of a full class load that will let us afford tuition out of pocket, let us know.
