* I expect nothing less from the Cruz Imbecile. He has brought standards to a new low. * Cruise missile is guided by technology. The Cruz Imbecile is guided by stupidity.
* In other words...who's Rafael Cruz? he's not latino or hispanic, he's cuban and cubans hate latinos, mostly the ones that live in Florida, he's not american, he's not canadian (he says) what I think is that Cruz is a mix of cana-cuban-gringo witha boring anglo name and cheap, lousy spanish last name, therefore he's a traitor in those three sides....
* Well, isnt he a hypocrite? The guy is a psychotic crackpot from all accounts of former college friends and business partners, not to mention a straight embarrassment to both Texas and the Republican party. He's acted like an complete and utter jack*** by reading Green Eggs and Ham on the senate floor, he's used ACA for picking a healthcare plan after he railed against other Americans the right to do so and now is trying to screw over my fellow GLBT citizens who deserve the absolute right to have their relationships valued just as much as the one with my wife in the eyes of the law. This whole excuse about states rights is the same kind of BS that was tossed around during the Jim Crow-era south and the Moral Majority/Religious Right, which ironically are both the same thing... If there was any true Texas justice for Theodore Cruz, he would've been marched out to the town square some time ago and put in the stocks or better yet, tar'd and feathered, then rode out on a rail.

Sen. Ted Cruz takes political gall to new depths
By Jim Mitchell, April 24, 2015
Well, you can’t say Sen. Ted Cruz doesn’t have gall. He has plenty of that. You know what I mean. He’s the guy who sits in the peanut gallery, raining shells down on the folks who are actually at work.
Say what you will about a dysfunctional Congress, there is a special wing in the Senate for Sen. Cruz’s special brand of dysfunction.
I direct you this story from the Dallas Morning News’ Todd J. Gillman, who reports that Cruz came off the campaign trail long enough to support a failed filibuster (gee, that sounds familiar) of attorney general nominee Loretta Lynch and to accuse fellow Republicans of caving in and confirming her to the post.
Granted, his vote would not have made a difference in the outcome since enough Republicans joined with Democrats to make it happen. But I expect a lawmaker, even one who is busy jetting off to presidential campaign fundraisers, would make an effort to cast his “no” vote on major appointment. Bet he’d love it if during the primaries he tells voters to get out and vote for him, and they responded, “Meah, it wouldn’t make a difference.”
But the gall meter continues to rack up points. He’s a vocal opponent of gay marriage and recently introduced bills to protect states like Texas that bar same-sex couples from marrying. One bill would call for a constitutional amendment, and the other would block federal courts from issuing opinions on gay marriage until his amendment is adopted.
Fat chance on either. And never mind that the U.S. Supreme Court is hearing arguments on gay same-sex marriage. These bills don’t stand a snowball’s chance on a Texas Fourth of July, but Cruz plays for show.
Now the gall meter is really clicking into overdrive. According to the New York Times, Cruz reportedly said marriage should be left up to the states. That’s more than a wee different than the two bills, or his outspoken opposition to gay marriage.
And where did this states’ rights conversation take place? Monday night, at a reception for him at the Manhattan apartment of two prominent gay hoteliers, according to the Times. And yes, this is the same Ted Cruz who blasted Fortune 500 companies for pursuing a gay agenda because they attempt to dole out employee benefits fairly.
So let’s recap. Long distance criticism of fellow Republicans on the Lynch confirmation followed by a confusing set of moments on same-sex marriage. That’s a lot of dysfunctional non-work in week.
