Liberal group files complaint against Trump campaign
By Marianne Levine, September 9, 2016
The Committee to Preserve the Religious Right to Organize has filed charges against the Trump campaign, alleging the campaign's contract agreement violates federal labor law.
The charge, filed Sept. 2 and obtained by POLITICO, includes a copy of what appears to be the Trump campaign's terms of employment for employees, independent contractors, and volunteers.
David Rosenfeld, the lawyer who filed the charge, told POLITICO that the Trump campaign's confidentiality agreement violates the National Labor Relations Act.
"These are pretty clear violations," he said. "Most employers don't put these kinds of things in their employment agreements."
