COMMENTS:
* not only does Gordon play in Missouri (and pay Missouri income tax) , but he also plays 81 games on the road, so he’s subject to income tax in those states (including CA when the Royals play the Angels & A’s.)
* If Cali is having problems, They are nothing compared to Kansas’ problems. The sad thing is that all of Kansas’ fiscal problems can be directly attributed to Brownback, and his tax cuts.
* Judging from the posts here, it looks like Brownback may have a hard time destroying any other states like he has done to Kansas! But they say there’s one born every minute, Texas will probably give him a job after he’s trashed Kansas all he can.
* Naw, Brownback will have no problems destroying any organization he's put in charge of.
* Ah Republicans; Generating hope and love everywhere they slither up. Most amazing thing of all is that voters actually keep electing them. I guess a lot of voters consider politics a form of comedy or something. But it’s not funny when you, the non-wealthy, are on the wrong end of their lunacy. The more powerful ones in DC are not just ruining a state here and there, but the entire nation. Please vote them out. Please.
* The parties change, as they have in the past. But the Republican Party I grew up with – the party of fiscal responsibility and national defense – is dead. Deader than dead. It’s a distant memory. This is the party that’s supposed to be honorable and patient, that tells us to buy American and be relaxed and reliable, now they’re the tax-and-spend Vanilla ISIS.

Kansas governor jokes about Alex Gordon and watches it backfire on him
By Jacob Price, January 9, 2016
Kansas governor Sam Brownback may not be the most popular man in Kansas, but when Alex Gordon re-signed with the Royals, Brownback took to Twitter to try and make a relatable reference for his citizens.
Sam Brownback ✔ @govsambrownbackIt didn't go well!
Congrats, Alex Gordon! With your new contract, you'll save about $1.8M/year in taxes just by living in KS instead of CA. #GordoNation #ksleg

Chance Berndt @Chance_BerndtOkay, so it seems like at least one person isn't as big a fan of the tax policies Brownback is touting, but surely this isn't a resounding sentiment.
@govsambrownback Yeah, but I bet California can actually pay their state employees. And held fund state ed. They also don't have you.

ericka @keepingsanewth4Ah okay, well technically that's not so much complaining about taxes as just Brownback in general. That's a win!
