Pardon me for chortling, but I just discovered a wonderful, absolutely marvelous term for our esteemed members of the U.S. Senate: "Senatortoise". It has been especially applied to Mitch McConnell, but many of his GOP cohorts also deserve it, don't you think? Even some of the Democrats should carry the label.
