* Actually,he's a bird - the Canadian brown-nosed loon.
* Cruz should go back to Canada. Why aren't the racists asking for a birth certificate?, oh, yeah, he's not black!!
* Cruz is a rabid cur dog that should not be loose on America.
* Nobody can deny that Trump can raise awareness of, well, Trump. But by making some of the statements that he's made recently he's gone a bit over the line and alienated huge chunks of voters. I can't imagine any veterans voting for him and very few immigrants either. Then again, I think he's just doing this to shake up the nation with every intention of dropping out before the end of the year, he's sure not doing it for the pay.
* Trump, like all birthers, is a racist. The Birthers say President Obama is ineligible to be President because of race and also say Ted Cruz is eligible to be President because of race. The Birthers cannot explain why one is eligible to be President and not the other without falling back on race. Trump is a Birther and Birthers are racists. What else explains their position?
* Cruz was a shoo-in to lock up the whack-job vote until Trump jumped in and the race to the bottom accelerated. It'll be a battle royale to determine which of these clowns will rule the shallow end of the mental pool.

Democratic senator: Ted Cruz is like a 'lost puppy' following Donald Trump around
By Maxwell Tani, July 20, 2015
US Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Missouri) on Monday lashed out at Senate colleague and presidential hopeful Ted Cruz (R-Texas) over his support for real-estate mogul and GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.
In a tweet on Monday, McCaskill compared Cruz to a "lost puppy" hoping to scoop up Trump's followers if he implodes on the campaign trail.
Claire McCaskill ✔@clairecmcCruz has recently cozied up to the real-estate magnate. He met with Trump in New York last week. He has been perhaps the most prominent GOP defender of Trump's controversial comments about Mexican immigrants. And on Saturday, he refused to denounce Trump's disparaging comments about Sen. John McCain's (R-Arizona) military record.
There's something unseemly about Cruz following Trump around like a lost puppy,hoping to get his leftovers when he finally flames out.

Analysts have speculated that Cruz's embrace of Trump is likely part of a larger strategy to tap into the populist rage within the conservative base on which Trump has capitalized.
Politico notes that Trump is likely siphoning away support for Cruz, whose scorched-earth conservative tactics have made him similarly popular with the Republican base at the expense of the his relationship with the GOP establishment. There's lingering resentment from some Republicans in Congress over the 2013 government shutdown that Cruz helped orchestrate.
