COMMENTS:
* Garrett never liked him anyway. The Department of State have repeatedly warned Americans not to travel to certain countries in the middle east and warnings are alway ignored. If they are caught and jailed that's their problem.
* Some of the most credible reporters and journalist are criticizing Garret for the question and everyone's posting about Bill Maher's comment. How about we just say Garret was out of line the way he intentionally phrased the question and call it a day.
* Major Garrett showed absolutely no class nor professionalism. He's just a jerk in a suit. He purported to know how President Obama thinks and/or feels. Idiots like Garrett should "suit up" and go to war themselves since they prefer war over peace.
* I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but I wish we could vote him in for a third term. I'd love to see conservatives lose what little mind they have left.
* Let's put it this way. Major Garrett's question was Not productive in any way, it was confrontational. He could of worded his question differently, like leaving the word "content" out, which would have made it a good question.

Bill Maher Blasts CBS News’ Major Garrett: ‘Why Not Just Scream the N Word’ at Obama?
By Jordan Chariton, July 16, 2015
CBS News White House Correspondent Major Garrett became the story Wednesday during President Obama’s Iran press conference when the Commander-in-Chief called his question “nonsense,” and Bill Maher took it a step further Thursday.
“ is a huge asshole. If U wanna “strike a nerve” with POTUS, why not just scream the N word? That shld get his attention,” Maher tweeted.
Garrett asked Obama to explain why he was “content” with the exclusion from the Iran nuclear deal of the return of four Americans imprisoned in the Islamic Republic. The president was angered by the question, answering sharply that it’s nonsense to suggest he is content with Americans remaining imprisoned in Iran and that Garrett “should know better.”
The tense moment received coverage across cable news in primetime; Garrett said he wouldn’t change his question if given the opportunity, saying he was trying to be provocative.
CNN’s Dana Bash criticized Garrett Wednesday, claiming he crossed the line with the phrasing of the question. Don Lemon, Gloria Borger and MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell also criticized Garrett.
