Typical GOP response.... Don't like something? Then call its legality into question.

COMMENTS:
*  Let me guess, Mr.Carson is one of those Republicans that support the SCOTUS when it rules in their favor but calls for reform when it doesn't. Typical. Mr.Carson is a foolish joke.
*  funny and ironic isn't it, that when the republicans don't like the way a court MIGHT decide an issue, it's time to "rethink the Supreme court".
    *  Yeah. Oddly, they were strangely silent when the supremes installed W in 2001, in their "one time, and one time only ruling". Funny how it goes.
    *  It's just nothing more than an extension of their gerrymandering philosophy.
*  The supreme court is part of the reason why DR Caron is even able to do such things as practice medicine and run for political office today. But then again, the only reason why this is even an issue for him is because he can't stand the idea of gays being afforded the same rights as hetroseexuals. And its because of his hypocrisy that he will never see my vote.

Ben Carson: It's Time To Rethink The Supreme Court's Powers
By Alana Horowitz, May 10, 2015

As you probably know, the Supreme Court has the ability to rule laws unconstitutional. That's how it was able to strike down segregation laws and uphold the Affordable Care Act. GOP 2016 hopeful Ben Carson isn't so sure about this power.

"This is an area we need to discuss," he told "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace. "We need to get into a discussion of this because it has changed from the original intent."

Wallace prodded: "So, you're saying this is an open question as far as you're concerned?"

"It is an open question," Carson responded. "It needs to be discussed."

The Supreme Court is currently weighing several state bans on same-sex marriage. Because it has already ruled that a federal law defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman was unconstitutional, the court's June decision could effectively allow gays to marry anywhere in the country.

Carson opposes marriage equality.
