From The Olympian

Lucias Daye, a contributor to The Olympian, wrote his swan song and it was published in the last couple of days (sorry, I didn't really pay attention to how long it had been on the site.  It was milked for 73 comments)

Daye, in another op-ed http://www.theolympian.com/2010/10/29/1419774/has-push-for-inclusiveness-diversity.html, admitted to his Conservative leanings and was applauded by the usual crowd.  His final piece was about "celebrating diversity" and the catcalls came out like there was a female in heat.  Typical attacks of Daye being "communist", "socialist" - all the namecalling you'd expect.  I guess Lucias is no longer "Conservative enough".

Such is the folly of the new GOP.  They are already fighting amongst themselves about what is "Conservative".  This is typical of the three word phrase crowd.  No critical thinking.

Here again the best indication of the leFtist mind is in what they accuse conservatives of.

If they didn't fear us, they wouldn't create a blog to talk about the people here they disagree with.
And on that "other " blog, they're not very nice.

Now maybe Joey was talking about SondraK.com where the moderator ran a head for a month or so that called "Emma" a  filthy euphamism for "vagina".  A quick aside - I still would love to know who "Emma" really was.  He/She certainly had Sondra in excrement fits.

Joey, just to set the record straight - ThurstonBlog was created because you and others like you were abusing the report feature on The Olympian when they had "Pluck" and forcing The Olympian to shut down the comments thread on almost a daily basis.  I provided a forum for people to enjoy when The Olympian was shut down.

ThurstonBlog was originally an open blog, but immediately the same crew thought they'd pull similar stunts here.  We made it members only.  Frankly, if The Olympian would truly qualify the identity of their commenter contributors, you and many like you would disappear because you lack the courage to stand up for your beliefs. You live in the fear that someone is "out to get you" and said paranoia is probably because of all the lurking and hiding you do.  Here is a clue - MOST of the world is not like YOU.

ThurstonBlog exists because the JoeyVoters of the community want to start bar fights and then crawl out the front door and watch from the cheap seats.  Here, that can't happen.  Every contributor is responsible for their own contributions.

Now, if you are whining about the many parodies done on your multiple monikers in The Olympian and your whiney ways, ThurstonBlog - me in particular - is guilty as charged.  Joey, tell me....seriously, how can we not parody your constant threat to take matters into your own hands whenever an Evergreen student farts sideways?  How can we avoid making fun of your constant religious performances while fantasizing the jail rape of TJ Johnson?  How can we not find humor in what is obviously a very off balance individual who stalks people on the internet and then cries about them being "mean"?  You are a comedian's delight!

ThurstonBlog loves a good laugh and you make it so easy......  Actually, I've got a few more up my sleeve.
