Steele bows out as RNC chairman
Update at 3:54 p.m. ET:
Incumbent RNC Chairman Michael Steele has dropped out of the running for a second term after the fourth round of balloting, he just announced.
He noted the party is clearly ready for a new direction and threw his support behind Maria Cino, a longtime GOP operative.

Apparently, Steele's support is the kiss of death. Cino lost, too.

* you might as well have the head of the RNC look like what the whole body of the GOP looks like. They tried the diversity thing to counter President Obama and it just didn't work. Face it GOP you may have a few Black, Latinos, Asians and even gays that are in the party but they are WAAAY back in the party and you can tell that in the next RNC convention in Tampa. The DNC conventions, like them or not, looks like what America IS. The GOP looks like what they wish America looked like.
