Geez, that's so classy, Boehner-- NOT!

Boehner sure has a potty mouth.....  and then to brag about it on top of it.  I hope the voters of Ohio remember this when he's up for re-election.

Boehner urges Sen. Reid to do the physically impossible
Posted by Joel Connelly on January 2, 2013
Republican House Speaker John Boehner had obscene words for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid when the two ran into each other at the White House last Friday, in the midst of last minute negotiations to keep America from going over the fiscal cliff.

Reid had previously said that Boehner was running the House as a “dictatorship,” showing more interest in holding onto the lower chamber’s highest post than working out a tax and budget compromise.

“‘Go f— yourself’, Boehner sniped as he pointed his finger at Reid, according to multiple sources present,” the Politico website reported Wednesday.

“What are you talking about?” asked Reid, taken aback.

“Go f— yourself,” Boehner repeated.

The House speaker “later bragged about” the confrontation, which took place just a few feet from the Oval Office, according to Politico.

The episode was eerily reminiscent of a budget confrontation between President Clinton and a GOP-run House led by Speaker Newt Gingrich that shut down much of the federal government 17 years ago.  At the time, Republican Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole intervened to break the impasse, after days of watching Clinton’s poll numbers rise and support for his party’s position erode.

In the waning hours of 2012, two men who served in the U.S. Senate together for 24 years — Vice President Joe Biden and Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell — stepped in to hammer out the compromise that — barely — kept America away from the cliff.
