"How bad does bullshit have to smell before the odor is detected by people who live on a mountain made of that substance?"

COMMENTS:
*  Fox has to save its apologies for only the most grievous errors - otherwise it would be apologizing 24/7.
*  Fox News isn't a comedy show? I always thought it was just a counterpoint to the Daily Show.
*  Fox News the anti-American platform of Rupert Murdoch an Australian citizen.
*  Shame on fox news for frighening the elderly and the ignorant

Jon Stewart ‘Shocked’ That Fox News Apologized for Being ‘So Much Wronger Than Usual’ (Video)
By Greg Gilman, January 21, 2015

Jon Stewart said he was “shocked” that Fox News actually apologized on Saturday for reporting that there were “hundreds of no-go zones across France and other countries” where the area is ruled by Muslim law.

The “Daily Show” host called it a factual inaccuracy “that was so much wronger than usual,” since it needed a network wide apology.

“How bad does bullshit have to smell before the odor is detected by people who live on a mountain made of that substance?” Stewart asked.

Apparently, bad enough to be sniffed all the way across the Atlantic, where the prime minister of the United Kingdom said he “thought it must be April Fools’ Day” when a guest on the cable news network claimed Birmingham was “totally Muslim.”

The criticism of Fox News Muslim panic served as an introduction for correspondent Aasif Mandvi‘s segment in Alabama, where three quarters of the registered voters passed legislation to ban Sharia law, although a panel of six voters couldn’t say what part of Sharia law Alabama is threatened by.

“So the law is about protecting Alabama from something that’s never been a problem for anyone in Alabama or any other part of the United States, but it could be?” Mandvi asked.

“It’s better to have it and not need it, than not have it and need it,” a woman said.
