"A woman voting for the GOP is like a chicken voting for KFC." Especially if Trump owns KFC!

...................................................................................................................................................................

COMMENTS:
*  The Republicans relentlessly continue their war on women. Perhaps they forgot that women have the right to vote.
*  As I watch the pundits discuss Trump's performance, many state the one response that may lose him support were his comments about women. I believe this answer just expressed the way many GOP males think; Trump is just verbalizing their distrust and dislike of women. As far as GOP women go, I have always wondered how any women can support a party and its candidates that value them so little. Will they be offended by Trump's response? Why should they be? They are used to being devalued by now. The Republican Party has been doing it to them for years and they come back for more. GOP women won't even notice they have been called names
*  I am 62 years old and a widow of a veteran . Honestly I have always thought of my self as a kind compassionate woman . But these Republican males have taught me to hate - like I hate no others .
*  What should hurt women is that GOP women listen to this and still vote GOP.
    *  A woman voting for the GOP is like a chicken voting for KFC.
*   Way to go Republicans! They accomplished something that I could not after many years of trying.  My wife is a conservative and I a liberal. (both of us somewhat moderate - but there it is) Believe it or not, we get along just fine - except during election time. LOL  But this collection of men, dictating what they would allow women to do with their own body finally after all these years turned her opinion. She got very disgusted with the lot of them. I want to thank the GOP and Faux news for creating what appears to be a new Democrat voter. Last night, she decided she had it with them.

6 Reasons It Was So Frustrating To Watch The GOP Debate As A Woman

Oh, what a time to be alive and a lady.

By Emma Gray, August 7, 2015

1. A panel of (mostly white), wealthy men discussed whether women should have the right to access woman-specific medical care -- and overwhelmingly concluded "no."

There's nothing like listening to ten dudes who will never need an abortion, talk about whether I should have a right to abortion #GOPDebate

2. Donald Trump defended referring to women as "fat pigs," "dogs," and "disgusting animals" in the past by saying he doesn't "have time for total political correctness" -- and neither does this country. He received a huge round of applause.

WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO CALL WOMEN PIGS AND WHORES MORE. WE HAVE TO TAKE AMERICA BACK! #GOPDebate
6:12 PM - 6 Aug 2015
3. Again and again, the Republican candidates made it clear that the rights and lives of fetuses are more important than the rights and lives of women.
Dan Savage ✔@fakedansavage
American Women: Given a choice between you and the fetus... Scott Walker picks the fetus. Prolife... just not pro-your-life. #GOPDebate
6:20 PM - 6 Aug 2015
4. The debate doubled as a competition over who hates Planned Parenthood more -- and who would defund it first. Jeb Bush bragged about defunding Planned Parenthood in Florida, but congrats, bro!... now the state is ranked worst in the country for women's well-being. Also, Planned Parenthood is more popular than any of the presidential candidates.

No *I* hate Planned Parenthood and women more! NO I HATE PLANNED PARENTHOOD AND WOMEN MORE!!!!! #GOPDebate

Jeb: "I defunded Planned Parenthood"
He is proud that he denied thousands of women access to life saving healthcare.

5. Transphobia ran rampant. When asked about the recent end to the ban on openly transgender troops in the military, Huckabee had this to say: "The military is not a social experiment. The purpose of the military is kill people and break things. It is not to transform the culture by trying out some ideas that some people think would make us a different country and more diverse."

Surprise surprise, @GovMikeHuckabee thinks #trans life is a "social experiment" #GOPDebate

6. And when it came to issues of race and the #BlackLivesMatter movement, there was a whole... lot... of... silence.
Stephanie Howse @stephaniehowse
The "Time to Move Beyond Race" rhetoric continues the SILENCE & AVOIDANCE of solving issues of marginalized people @RealBenCarson #GOPDebate

#blacklivesmatter received only 30 seconds at the #GOPDebate . That speaks volumes.

Overall, the main thing we learned last night was:
