Van Jones, did you expect anything else from Corey Lewandowski?

COMMENTS:
*  Businesses have vacancies that they can't fill because they can't find qualified people. The people like the Trump followers who are waiting for the coal mines and factories that have been shuttered to retool and restart are going to have a sad awakening because no one can scrape the rust off that belt for unqualified and uneducated workers. Trump has sold them a bill of goods.
*  Lewandowski truly is a lowlife. He demonstrated his lack of class by being a poor winner. His panel mate, national embarrassment Jeffrey Lord, immediately launched into Hillary Clinton stating she could be prosecuted.  These people do not bode well for any sort of unification.
*  I do hope the country somehow unifies. If it does, it will be due to a national calamity of some type (e.g. attack on America, etc.). It won't be due to Trump, for Trump could not even unify his own party.
*  Trump talks a big game, but let's see how well he is able to run the political establishment in DC. Unless his buddy Putin gives him better ideas about getting rid of his political opponents.
*  That's a list of the things that will damage our country. One of Trump's biggest tasks now will be telling his supporters to act civilly towards their fellow man, for there is no question Trump's campaign energized hate groups. If Lewandowski and Lord are any indication, it'll be very tough to foster unity.
*   Lewandowski has been a consistently classless person. Expect nothing more.
*   Funny how sad this election made me feel. First time I have felt that way over an election.
*   Van Jones is a class act. He brings dignity and humanity to the table, and of course that something Lewandowski is simply incapable of understanding, much less exhibiting.
*   Breaking news:  30 million husbands and boyfriends just got cut off.

Van Jones to Corey Lewandowski: ‘You’re being a horrible person right now’
By Callum Borchers, November 9, 2016

An apparent victory was not enough for Corey Lewandowski.

In the wee hours of Wednesday morning, the former Donald Trump campaign manager, now a CNN commentator, was not satisfied to bask in the glow of his former boss’s likely win in the presidential race. In fact, he was angry.

He wanted Hillary Clinton to make a concession speech, even though no major news outlet had officially declared a winner. And wanted the media to shred Clinton for holding out, since he was certain that the news media would have slammed Trump if the roles were reversed.

Lewandowski’s CNN colleague, Democratic strategist Van Jones, tried to appease him. This was their exchange, with brief interjections by Trump supporter Jeffrey Lord and anchor Anderson Cooper.
JONES: You won.

LEWANDOWSKI: Say it again. I didn’t hear you.
JONES: You won.

LEWANDOWSKI: That’s right. And Hillary Clinton should say that to the American people and say, “Support Donald Trump ’cause there’s one president.”

JONES: This is it. This is it. This is what …

LORD: Van, Van.

JONES: Hold on, lemme finished. I’m not done. I’m not done. Look, it’s 2 o’clock in the morning. She’ll talk in the morning.

LEWANDOWSKI: Will she?

COOPER: Let him finish.

JONES: Corey, you’re being a horrible person right now. Let me finish.
By “this is it,” Jones was referring to the vengeful response to victory that many Trump opponents have feared.

“Where is the grace?” Jones said. “Where is the understanding? Where is the empathy going to come from? It’s going to have to come from ordinary people. Tomorrow at work, when we go and look at people we don’t agree with, this can’t be the interaction.”
