I read a commentary recently that described Jon Huntsman as the “sanest” of the crop of Republican presidential candidates. It brought to mind a similar comment that called the new leader of North Korea as the sanest of Kim Jong Il’s three sons.
Isn’t it a sad state of affairs when we’re reduced to deciding our future leaders not on the strength of their character; not on their vision; not on their ability to lead; but merely on the state of their sanity?
