Yikes, sorry you guys had no power for so long - kind of a drag. I thought our ~36 hours was more than long enough.
I almost never read The Olympian any more, but had to go today to watch the wingnut heads explode. Almost commented too, but what's the point - as Billy Joel put so well - "You should never argue with a crazy mi m mi mi mi mind"
I haven't read the Olympian for about a year, unless someone tells me about some idiot still talking about me after 2 years of not commenting in the Olympia.
The News Tribune has all the news. The O is just another source of advertising revenue.
I'm back on-line finally! We didn't lose power because we have a big generator that comes on automatically when PSE goes down, but Comcast has been down since Thursday the 19th and just came back online around noon today. I have a huge beef with them-- for a "communications" company they do a piss-poor job of communicating!!
Well, now to catch up with the news of the world. Being out of touch is hell for a news junkie like me. LOL
Heck, the AT&T towers were out before 24 hours were over, and I live in town. First the high speed data network went, then the low speed data network, then the voice network started to come and go, mostly go.
... and yet, every time someone suggests that power lines be put underground (where tree branches cannot fall on them), the power companies scream.
