"You can’t win an election by attacking working people you’re asking to vote for you." The sooner voters [and the Koch brothers] understand this, the better.

COMMENTS:
*  Koch bros.and Walker have both received their comeuppance.  I also think that it has helped tremendously that various politicians have called out the Kochs for who they really are and what they stand for. They have been dragged into the daylight, where they cannot survive.  Before when nobody spoke of them, and they were conspiring against the US in the dark, they had more leeway. Not this time; they arrogantly displayed how much they would pay to buy the Presidency. ..hubris..it will do you in all the time sooner or later.
*  We should all be really concerned about the future of the working class in America . The Republican Party is a Union busting entity & many of the white & poor working class support the Republicans due to their racists views , it’s a real shame when racism trumps good common sense.
*  He’s gone for now.. remember folks, the Koch’s are not. They still have a plan, still want to change America to the vision of their father and they still have very large amounts of cash.  I want to know, do they have Children, what do their Children believe and will they be involved in Politics? If so, we then, have a very long term fight.  I’m hoping their Children are rich men’s Children lazy, do nothings, only able to play and spend daddy’s money.
*  Ok, Wisconsin, make your celebration short and gear up to get rid of this bum once and for all. 2018 is the time!
   *  2018 will not be soon enough–we will probably do another recall. This time without vote tampering!!
*   As a union member, walker really put a scare in me.  No longer, but republicans will continue their anti union vitriol, this is far from over.

Unions Celebrate As The Koch Brothers Fail To Buy The White House For Scott Walker
By Jason Easley, September 21, 2015

Unions are celebrating the rapid demise of union busting national disgrace, Scott Walker.

Larry Hanley, international president of the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) said in a statement:
In the end, even the Koch brothers couldn’t save Scott Walker and his negative, anti-worker message. America heard what he had to say, and decided that a man who could compare decent, hard-working, patriotic Americans to terrorists was unfit for the highest office in the land, or any other office for that matter.

Americans aren’t fooled. They understand that a campaign against unionized employees is a campaign against working families to lower the wages, benefits, and working conditions of all workers.

The early demise of the Wisconsin governor’s misbegotten campaign should serve as a warning to all other candidates for office: You can’t win an election by attacking working people you’re asking to vote for you.

Scott Walker’s loss is America’s gain.
President Richard Trumpka of the AFL-CIO summed up the feelings of many union members, “Scott Walker is still a disgrace, just no longer national.”

Scott Walker’s failure to launch as a presidential candidate was good news for union members and all workers on two fronts. First, Walker was the chosen candidate of the Koch brothers, who believed that Gov. Walker would be the Republican candidate who was most likely to carry out their agenda. Secondly, Walker tried to save his struggling campaign by reviving his union busting agenda. However, Walker’s support continued to drop in the polls.

Gov. Walker’s failure as a candidate represents the failure of union busting as a national political issue. The Koch brothers lost their top candidate, as the nation’s biggest union buster completely flopped as a presidential candidate.
