Ann, what about the rest of us not deeming *you* worthy of remaining a citizen? After all, it seems to me that you have a mental disability!

Ann Coulter doesn't want to give citizenship to people with disabilities
By Scott Sutton, June 5, 2015

Conservative pundit Ann Coulter doesn’t like the idea of any immigration policy that could allow people into the U.S. that she doesn’t deem worthy. That was made abundantly clear in her comments during Thursday’s edition of the Simon Conway Show, which she called into to discuss her new anti-immigration book “Adios America: The Left’s Plan To Turn Our Country Into A Third World Hellhole.

The two began discussing citizenship requirements and her disgust with the fact that some naturalization ceremonies are held in Spanish, and that English-language requirements have been waived for elderly immigrants who have been living in the U.S. for decades. Those people, she implied, “don’t love this country.”

But it was her comments about accommodations for disabled immigrants that were most disturbing.

“The INS has waived the English-language requirements for many immigrants, and it’s not just — that obviously goes to the heart of it, are you switching allegiance, do you love this country? — but beyond that, how about the wheelchair-only section? How about the section for the blind? Look, wish these people well, but we’re not running an international charity here,” she said.

“It’s insane for any country not to be using it’s [sic] immigration policies to bring in people better than us, not people who are instantly going to need taxpayer assistance,” Coulter continued.

“It’s people living here in America we should be taking care of, and not people we have to help.”

So, in case you missed that, Coulter seems to be implying the disabled people — specifically those in wheelchairs and the blind — are somehow worse than “us” (as in Americans?) and we shouldn’t make exceptions to allow them into our country.

Listen to Coulter’s comments here.
