I noticed that, too, and figured that Tammy or whomever they've stuck with the duty is too lazy to keep up with the flood of comments that item is bound to draw.
I see that the are allowing comments now, and they've actually been quite civil
I just took a quick look through to see if any had been removed, and lo and behold apparently none had been to this time! Utterly miraculous, I say.....
