*  Morons! Horrible, horrible, terribly stupid people!
*  if ever there was a reason to let a people suffer from their own decisions - here is a good one. Corporations can willfully choose NOT to cover the maiming they do to their employees but Okie legislators want to felonize a federally legal practice.
*  One more reason for thinking, compassionate, civilized people to avoid Oklahoma, as if we needed another. Why aren't we hearing of boycotts like those for states against gay rights like North Carolina? Are women not important enough?
*  Aren't "opponents of rights" generally referred to as "Terrorists"??
*  Wouldn't it be a smarter and a more graceful approach to try and prevent pregnancies instead of trying to prevent abortions. If the so called religious right had a great interest in helping in the community, we would not have nearly as many unwanted pregnancies, or women who feel their only choice is abortion.
*   In the time before SCOTUS ruled in Rowe v Wade many women turned to unregulated, illegal abortionists - everyone admitted it was terrible - and that is what will happen again if this is changed and women no longer have control over their bodies via safe accessible abortions.

Oklahoma lawmakers have passed a bill that makes performing an abortion a felony.

NPR's Jennifer Ludden told our Newscast unit that the bill is the first of its kind, and an abortion rights group plans to sue if the governor signs the bill into law. Gov. Mary Fallin has not yet indicated what she plans to do. [major snippage]

*  he was just shocked by the abortion law idiot republicans.. and hit the bridge...  we all about hit something when we heard what they did
*  This is what god thinks of their stupid anti-abortion laws.
*  Maybe if the Oklahoma legislature wasn't so busy trying to pass unconstitutional abortion laws, they would have some time to address their collapsing infrastructure, pathetic schools system that ranks near the bottom of the country, and fix their ballooning debt.  Embracing "trickle down" economic policies that have been a proven failure for 40 years is not working out so well for Oklahoma, Kansas, LA and other bankrupt southern and midwestern red states. Don't worry though, states like mine, who pay in $1.60 for every dollar we get back from the Fed will continue to pay your way. Leaches.
*  Oklahoma government is only allowed to regulate women's bodies, not infrastructure.
*  Maybe if Oklahoma wasn't so focused on abortions, their legislature would be passing more bills to support infrastructure?
