I think it depends on which newspaper it is-- the Trib definitely IS a regional newspaper; The Zero SHOULD be "local", i.e. Thurston County! Of course, we know that the Zero hasn't been a "local" paper for years because that would mean that it would have to have reporters out in the field digging for news. Can't have that now, can we?

Well, I'd say it's a loss, but that would be looking back into the past. The loss has already occurred, long ago. When I do buy a paper, I buy either the Seattle Times or the News Tribune.
