While I do truly believe Joey to be a douche of the highest order I do think the referees call was a bit ridiculous. I do however wonder if Joey would feel the same way if the player pointed himself toward Mecca and prayed to Allah?

Lost - one of my best friends is the head coach of a Christian school. The referees call was spot on. This is a case of poor coaching and referees that were either intimated to handle it prior or referees that subscribe to the faith.
Either way, the rule is quite clear to good coaches.
My best friend's team is playing tomorrow for the state championship.
