Since our mention on Olyblog, there has been some talk and banter about our content. As publisher of this fine piece of journalism, I feel the need to reaffirm the mission statement of ThurstonBlog.
FUN.
Kinda simple, huh? I don't, nor do any other authors, intend on making this an intellectual piece. Oh, from time to time we'll address something serious or discuss national politics, or even local politics, but the primary objective, since Day One has been to poke The News Tribune Jr. in the eye, along with the right wing fascists who have taken over the comments section. In short, ThurstonBlog is a pie in the face.
If anyone has misunderstood our mission - we don't really give a rat's ass.
