The reporting by the 0 is really suckey. Why do we get the news via a report on a Seattle TV station?
Shut the d*m* paper down. That will make Olympia a state capital without their own postmark and daily newspaper.

Why do you continue to post here if you don't like the newspaper? Why are you telling the newspaper to shut itself down? If you are so smart why don't you contact the newspaper and ask if you can be a non paid roaming reporter to this blog.!

Probably because that is what we expect PAID reporters to do- their job, investigating & reporting the news. Just a guess.

Both of you are correct ! .. sorry to say ...
I think we have a bunch of lazy reporter that keep "bankers hours" and are lacking the motivation to get with it and research/investigate, their article/storey, being reported ! ... They just copy the reports of other media for space fill and never follow up !
Please provide an up date ... Is that too much to ask ? ?

It's standard procedure at every newspaper to wait for positive identification from the coroner for several reasons, including the fact that it's less than ideal for family members to learn from the newspaper, rather than the coroner, of a relative's death.

I wouldn't presume to tell anyone at the Olympian how to do their job just as I wouldn't expect you to do that with me, however, when there is an article that is twice as long regarding an incident that happened in Olympia in The Tacoma News Tribune there is a problem. There is a description of what they believe happened in the TNT, not here. Maybe since the TNT is the parent company of The Olympian the article could at least be the same. I don't understand why Tacoma is getting more information about an incident in Olympia than Olympia is getting when the information comes from shared resources. I can understand a bit of descrepency between The Olympian and the tv news not between newspapers owned by the same company.
