We need a single payer system and perhaps we will finally get one.
I'm still amazed by those on the right who fight the individual mandate. I would think that you would be pleased that folks would be responsible for their own health care rather than passing the costs to the tax payers.
The hypocrisy of the right never ceases to amaze me.

Hey Spun, I have an idea, lets solve homelessness by passing a bill making everyone buy a house. You liberal obama democrats are watching your house of cards start to fall. Hey I hear there are some cheap travel deals to Egypt courtesy of Obama.

I see you're still "respecting the memory" of those who died in Tucson, Mo. Nice going.

The rest of us are trying to figure out just which country that is, Mo. It surely isn't America.

Wow, Judicial OVERSIGHT! Imagine that!
I am impressed that the 3 branches of government is actually seeming to work in this instance.

Indeed! How effing cool is that? Well, except when you don't like their decisions. Regardless of how I feel about the affordable health care act, I am comforted to see the right embracing the courts and their black-robed judges for a change. Perhaps it'll catch on.

Funny how the right wing has all of a sudden stopped its war on the judiciary. I would however, so as to not ruin their lather, remind them that two judges have said this is constitutional.

And 26 states have said it is not.
Unless you are taking BO's comment that there are 57 states, it would be a majority.

Really, you mean 26 states, all of which have Republican AG's or governors say its not. Since when do we decide constitutionality on what partisan politicians from the states executive branch think. You really need to read your constitution.
If that is your argument well I will trump you with a majority of congress said it was constitutional which represent the states. So there! LOL.

Medical care for those who can't pay or don't have an insurance should only be limited to American Citizens. In addition if you can't pay there were other ways in the past not so long ago when people paid their Dr, for medical care. I witnessed even in the 60's as a young teen that people would pay with goods and services that they had. For to long the Liberal Democrats have allowed the Christian family values of the country to deteriorate. The result is those who won't take responsibility for their actions and expect the nanny state to take care of them.

So it's a "Christian family value" to stand there and watch as someone goes without needed medical care because they don't have the money? Oh, right, they can give the hospital a bushel of turnips instead. That'll work well.
Is it a "Christian family value" to let people make insurance payments for years, and then drop their coverage when they develop a serious condition, or because of an unrelated "pre-existing condition" they didn't know they have?

More lack of compassion from SondraK/Tammy:

Pushing dumpsters into the paths of moving cars can do much damage also. As could a train hitting blocks of cement.
And attempting to avoid human debris purposefully jumping in front of trucks...

I hear jumping in front of a bulldozer will make you a hero in this town.

TWO ways to become a hero in Olympia!

I am curious why Tammy switches avatars. Is she getting banned? If so, any moderator should be able to recognize her unique style in a heartbeat.

I think there is some insane but internally consistent reason she does it, something like the squirrels are giving her a heads up about the Lizard people.
