It’s more than a bit ironic that a resident of Weed, California, was arrested for having a "large" amount of “weed” growing in his barn along with processed and packaged pot.
In another twist of irony, prosecutors in Siskiyou County sent the case back to the county sheriff for further investigation, because the law is unclear on just what constitutes how much marijuana is too much.

If all of this isn’t enough to make a great scenario for a “Matlock” or “Perry Mason,” Stienstra is also a well-known California outdoors writer, who has a tri-weekly column in the San Francisco Chronicle and appears with some regularity on Northern California radio and television shows.
