Reminds me of the commercial where the cat hires the bloodhound to find his litterbox! (WOW! That commercial just came on!!! I haven't seen it for weeks but here it is! Talk about serendipity..... As the kids say: OMG!)

I hope their kitty comes back safe and sound! Whilst in college I had a kitty go missing, four months later he was on our front porch, beautifully brushed and chubby. I believe he was taken, treated well as an indoor cat, and somehow escaped, to return home to the folks who REALLY SPOILED him!
His name was Buoy, a play on words, we lived at the beach, (Los Osos, back bay of Morro Bay) and he was a big, playful boy! After graduation my room-mate kept him, as my family cat and him were not the best of friends!

That's a nice, happy-ending missing cat story, sparkle, and I hope the people in MT get their kitty back, too.
I had a cat go missing several yrs. ago, and because I live out in the sticks, I was afraid a coyote got him. About 2 wks. later, in the middle of a rainy night, I awoke to a thumping sound, and when I went downstairs to check it out, there was the missing cat spread-eagled in the middle of the patio screen door, like he was saying, let me in, let me in! In my barely awake state, I thought I was seeing a ghost, but it was him, thinner and soaking wet and really glad to be back in the house. Never did figure out where he'd been.

"...Never did figure out where he'd been."

They aren't much on letting us into that "secret lives of a cat" fraternity. As long as we feed, pet, brush and provide them with a warm place to sleep they will treat us quite nicely.

Remember Cooper the cat? Cooper the cat shows his stuff in photo exhibit

... For this Seattle cat, photography is his medium, a gift from his "parents" -- filmmakers Michael and Deirdre Cross, who gave him a very small and light digital camera that hung from his collar one day a week for a year. It was programmed to take a picture every two minutes.

They wanted the answer to a question many pet lovers have asked themselves: What does he do all day? ...
