Sunday at The Market

Mrs and I love blueberries and enjoy trips to the Olympia Market so today was the day.

Another wonderful trip to Downtown Olympia to enjoy the diversity of our community.

The performers that were wrapping up their show as we arrived were Latino Salsa Dancers and I was not only amazed at their talent, but found myself boogeying along with the lively music.
As soon as Mrs' ankle heals, we are going to go to the Wednesday night Salsa lessons at the South Pacific!

Isn't it great that we live in the country filled with immigrants that have not abandoned their respective cultures? We can take a trip around the world without hardly leaving the Northwest...

China Town in Seattle
Bavaria in Leavenworth.
Want lutefisk? (why... I'm not sure), head for Ballard and the Scandanavians can explain it...
Latin culture pockets all up and down the I-5 corridor and in Eastern Washington
Heck, there is even a Swiss Festival off Hwy 6 between Chehalis and Raymond and I think one in Rochester, too.
The Annual Greek Festival in Tacoma
Oh.....we can't forget the Norwegian heritage of Poulsbo....

Embrace the differences and lust for the Northwest life!
