Both eyes are now bionic!
Gawd am I glad that is over.
If you want the sensation of laser eye surgery, stare into a very bright light for 20 minutes without blinking.

[shudder!] Glad it's over for you, Larry.
But can you see?
Xyzzy - the new lenses they implanted give me distant vision without correction - something I haven't had in 50 years. I do have to use reading glasses for close up and computer work.
The weird part is being able to see road signs and such while driving, but the dashboard is fuzzy. My new glasses will provide me a bifocal for close up and clear glass for distances.
Good for you. I haven't had clear distant vision without glasses since I was a child. The glasses work though.
For me, distant is 10+ inches. LOL.
WOW! What I thought was laser was actual surgery done with very small instruments and steady hands.
I finally got the DVD to work and got to watch how it was done.
The light I was staring at was reflective and required for vision on the part of the surgeon and staff.
Are you singing along w/ Jimmy Cliff... "I can see clearly now..."?
Congratulations on your new bionics and having the intestinal fortitude to go through w/ the surgery. May you see clearly all the bright, sunshiny days ahead.
I don't know what would be harder, going through the surgery, or watching the video of it! LOL
Good to hear all went well!
