It's great that we have a day to honor our veterans, let's just remember them the other 364 days a year.

Flag waving doesn't cure PTSD or homelessness that the men and women who have served this country now battle.

Very true, Larry. Just as we should remember the needs of people, including veterans, who use the services of the food banks throughout the year. Hunger is year-round, but many people think of giving to the food banks at Thanksgiving and Xmas and that's the end of their concern.

Seems their money could be better spent
