It's the end of an era. So sad to hear this news.
Peace to his family; there must be a huge hole in their hearts tonight.
I had the honor of meeting Dave at spring training a few years back, and was planning on seeing him again this spring in Peoria.
Still looking forward to comiserating with my fellow ball fans in Arizona this March
