Slow News Weekend

Not much happening on the national front and locally it's the same old, same old.

I'll just contribute that we had a great show at The Harmon on Friday night, saw lots of old friends and met some new ones

Anonymous 98507 is now helping me moderate and has administrator privileges. I think two heads are better than one. We will consult each other on matters of deletions and suspensions.

What's new with all of you?

Great weekend of viewing a bunch of acomplished athletes at a gymnastics compitition in Auburn. Wow the dedication of those girls (mine included!)

After a long work week, it was truly a joy to watch!

I learned how to make THC capsules.
I'm going out to eat and a movie with Mrs.Island and some friends. I fancy I will take a couple of capsules with dinner to enhance the cinematic experience.

Thanks, Larry, for the invitation to help you. Since I'm a night owl, there should be fewer hours when one of us isn't "on duty".

And one of these days I'll catch up with one of your shows, Larry.

sparkle, I hope your girls did well in the competition.

Island, probably the less said about your new skill the better-- for us! What we don't know we can't spill! LOLOL

As for me, this was Barrett-Jackson car auction weekend on Speed, so that's where most of my attention was. Auction prices on average were still down from the highs of the pre-crash, so I think that shows that the economy still hasn't rebounded. When the rich haven't gone back to letting loose of big bucks for their playthings, you have to recognize that they don't yet have full confidence in the economy.

98507, thanks, she did VERY well!

Larry, how is your shoulder doing? hope you're on the mend.

Sparkle:

Thanks for asking about the shoulder. Since the last injection, I'm getting some relief, but I'm still only about 60% (at best) on range of motion and without pain medication, I have nerve disruptions that send pain signals up and down the arm, creating spasms. A couple more weeks and we'll decide if surgery is in the near future.

Larry, has your doctor mentioned the use of a TENS (Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) unit to you? Various members of my family have had good results from using one to relieve pain. I used one for sciatica, and my spouse used one for frozen shoulder.

It's Ok. I have a medical permit.

I have a cousin who had a couple of cars in that auction, but I had to work, so didn't get to see it..

Hope he made a mint!
