BOO!
OK...on with the program
From the story about the "TEA" Party at the Dome.......
"Tom Newcomer, who was carrying a Confederate flag, said he is concerned about legislative efforts that he believes step beyond the Constitution in the areas of free speech, gun rights and property. He said activists showed up “to take our state back.” He didn’t offer specifics about what he considered excessive." Do they ever offer specifics?
"Initiative promoter Tim Eyman addressed the crowd in a second, mid-afternoon rally" No news here...this is telling us that PT Barnum is at the circus
Now here is the real scarey response from the comments:

It appears that the Olympian like most of the failing newspapers in this country, can't get over the PC need to have an opposing view from an obvious descenter, who's sarcastic remark about the "activists" throwing out SS, Medicare and Medicaid, had nothing to do with the objectives of the "Citizens" who were present. Jim Moeller wouldn't dare call a group of SEIU arm breakers, "activists". Nor would he call ACORN reps. gathering illegal votes, "activists", but housewives, retirees, business men and women, blue collar workers and students are "activists" if they disagree with the party line Jim so willingly spouts at their expense. These two fine reporters for the Olympian managed to pick out an odd ball with a confederate flag, but they missed the 300 every day citizens who don't like the attempt by people like Jim "the activist" Moeller, to turn their country into a third world socialist has been. You two are prime examples of the bias that is destroying your profession and jobs.

"Olympian managed to pick out an odd ball with a confederate flag"...... As if the fool wasn't trying to bring attention to himself? Next thing you know, they'll be saying "he's not a REAL TEA Party person". Question....how can sane people recommend this comment? Answer....They're not.
Finally....

The confederate flag is only racist if you are a leftie "journalist"and are grasping at anything you can get your hands on.
Also notable is the fact that it was Republican Lincoln who signed the emancipation proclamation.
Also notable is the fact that the Dixiecrats of the South all aligned with the Republicans that opposed civil rights in the 1960s (a little more recent than the Civil War) and have created the new and improved Republicans of today that wouldn't know Abe Lincoln if he stood next to them.
