In today's article about a shipwreck showing up at Tokeland, I couldn't help but laugh at this:

Cool! This beach wasn't named "washaway" for nothing. I travel this stretch quite frequently and I am amazed how much erosion has taken place down there each year.
Cheese is one of our global warming deniers, but is amazed at how the beach continues to wash away each year in Tokeland.
Geez, Cheesey....do you think it might be higher tides and less ability to contain said tides because there is nothing to stop the tidal motion?
A micro-example of what could happen on a large scale with a greater increase in tidal flows due to polar thaws.......
