Since our only obligation to The Olympian, for use of their LTEs is to publish the link that they provide, why don't we just copy and paste the LTE's on ThurstonBlog so that we can discuss them as we wish?
I realize that there won't be as much controversy and not as many hits on the O's website, but it will certainly be a discussion where we won't have to deal with people deleting our comments.
Tell me what you think. We could take turns copying and pasting them. We could even deleted the boring letters or the political pandering letters.

If this type of shenanigans continue, it might not be a bad idea.
Though part of the enjoyment of the LTE's is diverse political views.
I wonder if any of the sensible, "right of center" individuals that are also sick of this game would want to join in the discussion?

I've yet to get any applications. The only Rightee that ever posted here was "Too_Op" AKA "Achmed".
Achmed's whole point was to disrupt the blog, not contribute, so after a couple of deletions, Achmed went away crying.
I welcome people from the other side of the aisle. I don't welcome harassers.
Those who would come here just to cause trouble can't stand the ego disruption of being deleted, so they avoid ThurstonBlog, except from afar.
Also....I've invited Sonic, but he gets too upset with me over gun issues, so he avoids me.

To bad, it could be an uncensored venue for discussion, if posters are respectful.
