Blogger sparkle said...Larry, you got mail. (I posted to YLIE the same thing on LTE (without the use of the name Larry), it was deleted in a heart beat!June 11, 2010 6:08 AM Guess the Olympian staff gives this hatemonger a pass. Lets him use multiple names. Just goes to show how biased this paper really is.

Tammy loves to fight so much, that she didn't see the obvious request - DELETE THE COMMENT.
It's funny, but in the time that McGee spent stewing over my email and trying to make sure that she "settled the score" with me, she could have just deleted the comment from Hayward, who was obviously one the socks trying to start shit and disrupt the forum.
Why do they never have time to do their job, but always time to joust with me?

I wonder when the Olympian sales person is trying to talk up a perspective online advertising client if he or she thinks about how many hits are from people posting things that test the strict boundaries of their policies. How many hits are there from people checking the comments? If McGee really upheld the rules as written I just wonder how long it would be till only BP and scams with fine print agreements that lure with silly photo fun gimmicks will be willing to piss away their add dollars on the Olypians special brand of bullshit? If I were Tammy, first off I would be a journalistic hack but beyond that I would only check the abuse reports once daily and it would be at the end of the work day. A well timed slightly blind eye would help this sinking ship from taking on more water. Ever noticed how fewer paper copies are on doorsteps in the morning since this whole internet thing took off? It may behoove Tammy to sit back, shut the fuck up, and pray the online side of the Daily Zip can stay buoyant. How many people does this McHack think would actually pay to access their online abortion? Anybody?
Lost - as the other thread shows, I'm done playing games. I found a "communications" person at corporate level and I'm going to give them a go to see what they think of this crap.
Half their staff didn't get "relocated" because everything is financially solvent (I thank the God I don't believe in that they never got around to offering me that job in 2006). I've been around far more solid newspapers that either got peddled or eventually bit the dust because of their lack of control of their own market.
I'll never forget their Classified Advertising Manager (with 3 years newspaper experience) telling me that she put the auto dealers in their place. She did that so well, that they published their own direct mail piece for over a year, that I know of, maybe longer.
You cannot beat people into submission in the marketing business.
The only think left for The O is to have a relationship with quality readers, for purposes of national advertising online (take a look at the ads).
If they think that the "Independent Voters" with their psuedo religion horseshit domination of their comments forum is going to lure major market advertising, they'd better think again.
Don't forget to add a link "hayward"?
While your at it why don't you copy my cock and paste it in your mouth?
Thanks "janicec" I was starting to feel ignored.
Well Larry, this is me not holding back.
